The Heritage Club, Making the Future Brighter

The Heritage Club is the planned giving society of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix Foundation. There are currently 75 members that have planned to leave a legacy of over $10,000,000 to our Foundation. Each planned gift is invested in conservative interest bearing accounts and each year 5.25% of the Foundation is distributed to the Club to better serve the youth.

Please consider making a planned gift to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix Foundation. For more information contact Brad at bkuluris@bgcmp.org or 602-954-8182.

Keystone Clubs Making a Difference

Once again, the teens of the Keystone Clubs have volunteered to help out their communities.

The Keystoners helped by preparing the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix Annual Reports and "Stars" invitations for mailing. This process is very costly. The teens were a tremendous help!

A special thank you to all of the Keystone Club teens that helped with this project, we appreciate all you do for your Clubs and the community!

Fox Sports Arizona Character Counts Kid of the Month -- Kayla
kayla
Kid of the Month
Kayla

Although she is still soft-spoken, Kayla, a once shy and reserved girl has grown into a confident and motivated member of the Woodrow C. Scoutten/ Tolleson Branch.

She is involved in most activities and programs available to her, but really enjoys the Art room and the gym. In the Art room, she loves to explore her creative side with pastel chalk and mixed media art projects. In the gym, she loves to play volleyball.

Kayla is a very respectful, friendly and helpful young lady who enjoys assisting staff and members alike. Kayla can always be counted on to lend a helping hand, and is well liked and respected by her peers.

Kayla's outstanding character is the reason that she has been chosen as the December Character Counts Member of the Month. Congratulations Kayla!

Volunteer of the Month - Max Bippus

Max BippusMax Bippus, a Vice President at CB Richard Ellis, has been an active member of the Executive Council since 2007.

This year, as Chairman of the Executive Council Holiday Shopping Project, Max organized the
most successful shopping event to date. On December 5th, 160 community volunteers arrived at Paradise Valley Mall to take eighty Club kids shopping to give them a Holiday experience they might not otherwise have. Max also serves on
the Champion’s dinner and Taste 2010 committees.

We are very grateful for Max’s contributions and commitment to the kids and our organization.

If you are interested in learning more about volunteering, please visit our website or call (602) 954-8182.
